The Sccope WAP site m.sccope.com and Sccope mobile applications downloaded or pre-installed to your mobile device ("Sccope Mobile") are operated by Cogenta Systems Limited, trading as Sccope, a company registered in England, and whose registered address is 51 Queen Anne Street, London W1G 9HS ("Sccope", "we", "our" and "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and this privacy policy explains how we collect information, what we do with it and what controls you have.
Use of data by retail partners
If you request a product through Sccope Mobile, your contact information, credit or debit card details and delivery information will be passed to the retailer in question. Please consult the retailer's privacy policy to find out how they will use your information.
Your consent to this privacy policy
By using Sccope Mobile and the services you consent to the collection and use of your information by us in connection with Sccope Mobile. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post changes on our WAP site or otherwise communicate the changes to you so that you will be aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. If you do not consent to any changes to our privacy policy and as a result you would like us not to use or hold your information in accordance with the revised terms, you may instruct us to delete your information by sending an e-mail to feedback@sccope.com
Personal information we may collect from you
If you wish to purchase a product listed on Sccope Mobile you may make an order request. In doing so you will be required to register with us. To do so you will need to set up a username and password, provide your mobile number, name, email address and postal address.
We shall also provide you with a separate page, operated by a third party payment processing company (currently Pay-Thru Limited), for you to enter your credit or debit card details. Unless you order alerts, updates or enhanced content directly from Sccope (see following paragraph for details), we at Sccope will not have access to your credit or debit card information – they will be collected and used by our payment processing company and the retailer.
We may also allow you to register for updates relating to the fluctuation in price of products you are interested in by way of RSS feeds, emails, SMS messages, push technologies to mobile devices or in some other manner (as you may select) for which we may or may not charge you a fee. If you register to receive updates or enhanced content we may charge you a fee for which your consent will be obtained in advance. We shall retain copies of the details you submit when you register with us for the purpose of sending you updates and shall process any charges for such update services using the card details you have provided the third party payment processing company.
We may ask for similar information at other times, such as when you reply to surveys, or enter promotions.
How your information will be used
We will use the information you provide to: (a) enable us to process your registration and to provide you with the services and information offered through Sccope Mobile and which you request; (b) confirm receipt of any order request you make/or enhanced product content (such as independent reviews); and (c) provide and charge you for any update alert or enhanced content service which you request.
We may use the information you provide to: (a) carry out internal research on how Sccope Mobile is used (such as the age and location of our users); and (b) send you promotional SMS and emails, where you consent to receiving them. See MySccope Settings for how to unsubscribe from Sccope promotional communications.

If we do, these companies may employ cookies and action tags (also known as single pixel gifs or web beacons) and other technologies to measure advertising effectiveness. Any information that these third parties collect via cookies and action tags is completely anonymous.

Sccope's Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Sccope mobile site (m.sccope.com) or Sccope mobile application downloaded or pre-installed to your mobile device (together we call them “Sccope Mobile”). By using Sccope Mobile, you accept these Terms of Use and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use Sccope Mobile.
IMPORTANT: Sccope Mobile allows you to search for and compare listed products from your mobile device. At no point will you enter into a contract for any product with Sccope. Instead, as set out below, you may submit an order request to purchase a product listed on Sccope Mobile directly from the listed retailer. The retailer must accept your order request for a contract to be entered into.
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time by amending this page. You should check these Terms of Use each time you revisit Sccope Mobile. By continuing to use Sccope Mobile, you accept any changes and agree to be bound by them. You should print a copy of these Terms of Use for your future reference.
1. The Services
The services we provide through Sccope Mobile include but are not limited to search functionalities using key words or product categories, content, ratings, price history, and other tools (the “Service(s)”) to allow you to locate, compare and receive offers for purchasing products offered on the websites of various third parties (the “Retailers”). We may also allow you to register for automatically issued updates to your mobile device relating to price fluctuations in products or MyOffers (see below) or enhanced content by way of RSS feeds, emails, SMS messages or in some other manner offered by Sccope from time to time.
If you elect to receive the MyOffers service we will publish to your mobile device offers from Retailers to purchase goods or services that are based on your previous use of your mobile device for shopping activities. No personal data is shared with any third party but please review our Privacy Policy which forms part of these Terms of Use.
IMPORTANT: there is a law called the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, which would normally allow you to cancel an order for Sccope alerts, notifications and enhanced content (usually within seven days). However, you agree in this case that you will not be able to cancel your order in this way once delivery of the alert, notification or enhanced content is first available to you.
We may, in our sole discretion, modify the Service at any time for various reasons including to deal with changes in law, improvements, development or any other reason which we may deem valid at any time.
Searching for products
When you search for a Retailer’s product using Sccope Mobile you will be presented with a list, or grid, of results. These results do not represent prices for all product offerings available on the Internet, and are derived from data compiled by us from selected Retailers. The manner in which the results will be presented may depend on the type of search carried out.
- If you carry out a search via the search box, the offerings from all Retailers listed on Sccope Mobile may appear and, in addition to the price paid, other criteria are taken into account in the default classification of offerings: popularity, relevance of the data of the Retailers listed in relation to your query or the response time of the Retailers’ website.
The data on which the results are based is refreshed at intervals, depending on its type: this interval varies according to the Retailers and compliance with our technical requirements. We work hard to ensure that the pricing accurately represents pricing available on Retailers’ sites, however, it is possible that cheaper prices can be found elsewhere.
Purchasing products
If you wish to buy the listed product you have selected on Sccope Mobile you will be transferred to the retailer’s site. In this way we only act as an introducer and we are neither acting as agent for such Retailers nor selling, reselling nor licensing any listed products. We will not be party to any transaction or contract with any Retailers that you may enter into for the purchase of listed products. The Retailer may decide at their entire discretion whether to accept your offer to purchase the listed product for that price (for instance they might be out of stock).
As we are not party to any completed transaction we have no liability in respect of listed products or any failure or delay by a Retailer. You should contact the Retailer or seller of the products directly in relation to questions, complaints or disputes you have in respect of any products.
